Get your sip on to celebrate Cinco de Mayo—plenty of Boston spots are offering special sips in honor of the holiday, Thursday, May 5th.

Bistro du Midi puts a Provencal spin on the classic margarita with Todd Lipman’s Sirocco. Inspired by the hot wind that travels from North Africa to Southern Europe, the Head Sommelier infuses tequila with bell, poblano and habanero peppers, then combines it with Liquor 43, Triple Sec and lime juice. The final product is served with grilled peperoncini for an extra kick ($13 each). Book a table by calling 617.426.7878.

Plus, you get a half ounce of tequila for tasting, 1 ounce of the restaurant’s signature Sangria Rojo, a small guacamole with chips and garnishes ($50 total).
