It’s that time of year when the area’s most beloved chefs expose their shapely (albeit pasty) calves for a good cause. Come down to the Seaport Boston Hotel & World Trade Center on Friday, June 23rd for the twentieth annual Chefs in Shorts. You and your fellow attendees will be treated to a smorgasbord of barbecue and summer dishes from the city’s top chefs while you sip complimentary beer and wine tastings. And, since it wouldn’t be a cookout without a little competition, partygoers will be encouraged to vote for the evening’s favorite dish from among the chefly participants hailing from spots like Artbar, Babbo, Bar Boulud, Bastille Kitchen, Brasserie JO, Coppersmith, La Casa de Pedro, Oak & Rowan, Precinct Kitchen + Bar, Sapore Ristorante, Scampo, TAMO Bistro + Bar, Tavolo, Bond & Café Fleuri at The Langham Hotel, The Salty Pig, The Tip Tap Room, Top of the Hub and TRADE among lots and lots of others. It’s a fun day in the sun and proceeds go to support Future Chefs. The event begins at 7:00pm and is 21+. Tickets, available online here, run $90 apiece.
