Chefs for Clefts

Mark your calendar for Monday, October 3rd– it’s the Tip Tap Room’s third annual Chefs for Clefts fundraiser for Massachusetts General Hospital’s Global Surgical Initiative. Chef Brian Poe and owner Gordon Wilcox are throwing the Night in Colombia-themed shindig, which will include Colombian-inspired cocktails and nibbles as well as South American music. Tickets are available online here for $60 each but be sure to bring your credit card; Poe has enlisted a few friends – chefs Andy Husbands (Tremont 647 and Smoke Shop), Jose Duarte (Taranta), Louis DiBiccari (Tavern Road), Lydia Shire (Scampo) and Rodney Murillo (Davio’s) – to donate three-course dinners for ten at their respective restaurants for the evening’s live auction. Proceeds from both tickets and the auction will help Dr. Jay Austen of MGH provide care for burn victims and children with facial deformities in Colombia.
