It’s pinkies up for an extra sparkling afternoon tea at the Mandarin Oriental this December. Bar Boulud’s pastry chef Robert Differ and team have a menu of delicate luxuries for pairing with Parisian tea blends and Champagne Tattinger, plus holiday options for the little ones. Wednesday through Friday from 3:00-7:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00-7:00pm, guests can partake of traditional tea service with an effervescent twist. The refined afternoon starts with a glass of Champagne Tattinger Brut la Francaise, followed by a selection of loose leaf Dammann Frères Teas. The kitchen will provide finger sandwiches, English scones and French pastries, available all together for $65 per person. Additional glasses of Champagne, as well as specialty Champagne cocktails, can be purchased a la carte for adults. Kids get their own elegant experience with milk chocolate hot cocoa, turkey & cheese sandwiches, homemade gingerbread cookies and more, for $35 per child.
