Things are heating up in JP for the fifth annual Burger Slam when local chefs put their grill skills to the test for the fundraising cook-off. On Saturday, May 14th, restaurants The Rox, Stephanie’s on Newbury, Gaslight, Grass Fed and The Haven will thrown down their patties, and may the best burger win. From 6:30-10:00pm, guests can dine, drink and vote for their favorite dish at Spontaneous Celebrations in JP. Proceeds from admission and silent auction items will benefit the JP Manning Elementary School—tickets are available online here for $40 each.
