If all those beautiful shots of eggs benny and photos of French toast have given you a hankering for brunch, grab a ticket to the second annual Brunch Battle at District Hall. On Saturday, October 8th from 12:00-3:00pm, chefs from around the city will be bringing their best hollandaise and their fluffiest pancakes to the Seaport for a showdown of epic (and, more importantly, delicious) proportions. Look for offerings from Gather (last year’s champion), Lulu’s, The Living Room, Tap Trailhouse, Hops Test Kitchen, Tico, Row 34 and Metropolis. There’ll also be a la carte bevvies from sponsors Tito’s Handmade Vodka, La Marca Prosecco, & Barrington Coffee. Tickets, available online here, are $25 each and proceeds support Community Servings in their mission to provide to individuals and families who are homebound with an acute life-threatening illness.
