Pilsners, pale ales and pygmy hippos—on Saturday, August 15^th, the Franklin Park Zoo transforms for the sixth annual Brew at the Zoo. Starting at 3:30pm, guests can visit the Zoo’s exotic exhibits, including gorillas, giraffes and zebras, with a mug of suds in hand. The beer tasting line-up features locals like Aeronaut Brewing, Bantam Cider, Cambridge Brewing Company, Far from the Tree Cider, Hopsters, Mystic, Rapscallion and more, plus beer makers from neighboring New England states. Restaurants like Back Deck, Maggiano’s and Seasons 52 will provide bites for the afternoon, which runs until 7:30pm. Tickets are available in advance for $55 each and day-of for $65 each and proceeds support Zoo New England’s education programs and conservation initiatives.
