There’s nothing basic about Miles Davis’ legendary Bitches Brew and the Beat Brasserie peeps are paying tribute. Make for the Harvard Square venue for Bitches Brew Redoux on Thursday, June 15th as local musicians reimagine the record with a modern, electric and funk-influenced version of the classic from the King of Cool. The tunes begin at 7:30pm and will be accompanied by executive chef James Lyons’ phenomenal menu of seasonal dishes like charred octopus with bacon, saffron, Romano beans, grilled spring onions and black garlic aioli, spring pasta carbonara with English peas, pancetta and pistachio mint pesto as well as flat iron steak with asparagus, green garlic, strawberries and Urfa vinaigrette.
