Asparagus Season at 80 Thoreau

Asparagus is the order of the day (or days, as the case may be) at 80 Thoreau. From Monday, May 15th through Thursday, May 18th, chef Carolyn Johnson rolls out her annual tribute menu highlighting the stalky, green harbinger of spring in a four-course prix fixe (there is no asparagus in the dessert course, just FYI), available for $45 per person. Johnson sources her asparagus from Barrett’s Mill Farm (also in Concord) where the all-too-brief season came early this year. She’ll add more dates if it goes longer than usual, but there’s no time like the present – book your table asap so you don’t miss it. Call 978.318.0008.
