10th Annual Edible Art

Twenty of Boston’s preeminent chefs honor their favorite works of art and artists on Thursday, April 24th at the 10th Annual Edible Art. Chefs from restaurants like 29 Newbury, Ambrosia on Huntington, Aujourd’hui, Bomboa, Blue Ginger, Bonfire, Chez Henri, The Federalist, The Fireplace, Grill 23, Henrietta’s Table, Jer-ne, Mantra, MAX Ultimate Foods, Meritage, Mistral, Saint, Tremont 647 and Rouge will present their edible interpretations, which, in years past, have included tributes to everything from Michelangelo’s David to Dr. Seuss’s Cat in the Hat. The event, which will also feature original works of art from students, faculty and alumni of Art Institute of Boston, runs from 6:00-10:00pm. Tickets for the event, which will be held at Shreve Crump & Low (330 Boylston Street), cost $100 per person and can be purchased by calling 617.349.8586. Proceeds from the event support scholarships for students in the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University degree programs and for the Young Artists Programs which offer tuition assistance to Boston area high school students.
