Merrimack Valley Restaurant Showcase Week 2010

Yeah, Boston Restaurant Week gets all the buzz, but there's another little prix fixe extravaganza on the horizon: The Greater Merrimack Valley Restaurant Showcase Week runs from Sunday, August 1st through Sunday, August 15th. For two full weeks you can sample two course lunches (ranging in price from $9.10 to $15.10) and three course dinners (priced from $23.10 to $33.10) from restaurants like Bistro 44, Concord's Colonial Inn and La Boniche. And, if you just can't wait to get this party started, find your way over to the kickoff Summer Sam Fest event at Lowell's LeLacheur Park on Thursday, July 29th where you can enjoy a sampling of local restaurant dishes and some Sam Adams brews while listening to local music - all for only a $5 donation to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank.
